Freshman guard Jalen Suggs, the highest-rated recruit in school history, added 12 points and a game-high six assists for the Bulldogs (2-0), who defeated No. 6 Kansas 102-90 on Thanksgiving Day. The Zags were without two unnamed players who were put into quarantine because of coronavirus concerns.
Allen Flanigan led Auburn (1-1) with 20 points. JT Thor and Jamal Johnson each added 11 points, the only other Tigers to reach double-digit scoring.

Senior center Luka Garza erupted for 36 of his 41 points in the first half as the Hawkeyes led wire to wire in a blowout of the Jaguars in Iowa City.
A preseason national Player of the Year favorite, Garza made all 12 of his shots in the first half, including a pair of 3-pointers, and sank 10 of 12 free-throw attempts. His dominant effort enabled the Hawkeyes (2-0) to take a 58-35 halftime lead. Garza finished 14 of 15 from the floor and added nine rebounds and three blocked shots.
Ahsante Shivers led Southern (0-2) with 13 points while Jayden Saddler added 12, Lamarcus Lee 11 and Damiree Burns 10.

Sophomore guard Christian Braun scored a career-high 30 points on 10-for-13 shooting as the Jayhawks toppled the Hawks at the Fort Myers Tip-Off in Fort Myers, Fla.
Braun made 5 of 8 attempts from 3-point range and grabbed nine rebounds while showing his potential as a go-to starter. As a freshman last season, Braun sparkled in situational roles with Kansas poised to become the top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament before that event was canceled.
After allowing 64 percent shooting to No. 1 Gonzaga in a season-opening loss Thursday in Fort Myers, the Jayhawks (1-1) bounced back to wear down the Hawks with impressive depth. Ochai Agbaji netted 18 points for Kansas after scoring 17 in the opener. Jack Forrest scored 18 points for St. Joseph's (0-2).
No. 7 Wisconsin 92, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 58
Micah Potter notched 19 points and the Badgers scored the game's first 25 points while rolling to an easy win over the Golden Lions at Madison, Wis.
D'Mitrik Trice knocked down three 3-pointers while scoring 15 points for Wisconsin (2-0). Nate Reuvers added 14 points and Aleem Ford had 10 for the Badgers, who committed just seven turnovers and led by as many as 40 points.
Shaun Doss Jr. scored 16 points, Joshuwan Johnson added 13 and Dequan Morris had 10 for Arkansas-Pine Bluff (0-2), which committed 15 turnovers.

Ayo Dosunmu hit two free throws with 2.3 seconds left to lift the No. 8 Fighting Illini past the visiting Bobcats in the State Farm Center at Champaign, Ill.
Dosunmu finished with 27 points, seven rebounds and eight assists for Illinois (3-0), which fought tooth-and-nail throughout with upset-minded Ohio (2-1).
Jason Preston was sensational for the Bobcats, as he finished with a game-high 31 points, six rebounds and eight assists. Preston scored on a spinning, right-handed floater in the lane with 7.7 seconds left to give Ohio a 75-74 lead.
No. 14 Texas Tech 84, Sam Houston State 52
Mac McClung scored 18 points, Marcus Santos-Silva added 12 points and nine rebounds and the Red Raiders topped the Bearkats in Lubbock, Texas.
Texas Tech's defense limited the Bearkats (0-2) to 31.5 percent shooting from the floor (17-for-54) and just 4-for-18 from 3-point range.
The Red Raiders (2-0) limited Sam Houston State's Zach Nutall, who opened the season by torching SMU for a career-best 36 points on Wednesday, to 14 points on 5-of-17 shooting.

Derek Culver scored 15 points to propel the Mountaineers to victory over the Hilltoppers in the championship game of the Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Culver overcame early foul trouble to record 11 points during the second half as the Mountaineers (3-0) outscored the Hilltoppers (2-1) by a 37-28 margin after intermission.
Miles McBride scored 14 points and Taz Sherman added 12 for West Virginia. Charles Bassey overcame early foul trouble to collect 15 points and eight rebounds for the Hilltoppers, who were bidding to win their first in-season tournament since 2001.

Quentin Grimes scored 25 points and Caleb Mills added 12 to help the host Cougars stave off a late rally by the Broncos.
Houston (2-0) extended to a 52-32 lead with 9:37 left to play on a DeJon Jarreau layup before Boise State (0-1) made things interesting late in its season opener.
Marcus Sasser added 10 points for the Cougars. J'Wan Roberts grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds for Houston, which posted a 49-26 advantage on the glass. RayJ Dennis paced the Broncos with 18 points while Shaver chipped in 16. Boise State senior Derrick Alston Jr., the Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year and a Houston native, was held scoreless on 0-for-6 shooting over 32 minutes.

Chris Smith scored 26 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished six assists as the Bruins finally pulled away from the Waves in the third overtime to earn a wild victory in San Diego.
The Bruins (1-1) scored nine points in the first 1:45 of the third extra period to create separation they never had in the game's previous 50 minutes. Tyger Campbell scored seven of his 22 points down the stretch in the third overtime, salting away the back-and-forth affair for the Bruins. Campbell also had seven assists and six rebounds.
Pepperdine (1-1) led by as many as nine points in the first half and took a 39-32 lead into intermission behind solid play from Colbey Ross, who scored a game-high 33 points. In the second half, the senior guard passed Stacy Davis' 1,786 career points to become the Waves' all-time leading scorer.
No. 24 Rutgers 96, Fairleigh Dickinson 75
Ron Harper Jr. scored a career-high 30 points and Jacob Young added 24 points as the Scarlet Knights pulled away from pesky visiting Knights in a battle of New Jersey schools in Piscataway, N.J.
Young also had seven assists for Rutgers (2-0). Montez Mathis finished with 15 points for the Scarlet Knights, who recorded nine blocks, including four in just 15 minutes by Myles Johnson.
Brandon Rush and Jahlil Jenkins scored 16 points apiece while Pier-Olivier Racine had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Fairleigh Dickinson (0-2). Callum Baker had 11 points.
