Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the visiting New York Knicks due to left knee soreness.
Simmons exited Brooklyn's 130-122 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Thursday in the third quarter and did not return.
Forward TJ Warren, who is nursing a left shin contusion, also was ruled out for Saturday's game.
Simmons, 26, is averaging 7.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 6.4 assists in 37 games (32 starts) this season.
Warren, 29, is averaging 9.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 24 games off the bench this season.
