TORONTO, CA: Toronto property management company, ICC Property Management will be rewarding its employees with cash and access to opportunities so that they can achieve their personal dreams.
This reward initiative dubbed the ICC Dream Foundation will empower the company employees towards the fulfillment of their goals and ambitions in their personal lives, a move the company hopes will motivate the employees to give of themselves more at the office while leading more fulfilled lives.
ICC Property Management President, Founder and CEO Steven Christodoulou acknowledged that the company would not exist without its hardworking employees.
“Our Staff is what creates the great culture which we enjoy at ICC. And it is this great culture that gives us a competitive advantage over our competition,†he said Monday while announcing the launch of the Dream Foundation. “Without culture, we don’t have the ability and teamwork to achieve our goals no matter the strength of our strategies.â€
It is as a result of this understanding that Steven has initiated the Dream foundation encouraging company employees to send him an email detailing their dream. He said the details of the dream will remain 100% confidential unless the member of staff who sent it decides to make it public.
“I want to honor the fact that all of my staff show up every day to execute our vision and live our core values. This is a chance for me to give back. A chance to truly make a difference in people’s lives.â€
Leona, a member of staff at ICC Property Management was one of the first employees to see her dream granted under the new initiative.
“My dream was to join Weight Watchers,†she says.
“I mentioned that to Steve. Whether he could meet my dream or not I was going to join it because I was concerned about my health. Steve not only granted my dream, he also opened it up to everybody at ICC.â€
Just a few months since Steven made the Weight Watchers program available to the entire staff at ICC Property Management, the company employees who have participated in the program have lost a combined weight of 142.6 pounds.
Esther, one of those ICC members of staff who has participated in the Weight Watchers program is grateful to Steven and ICC Dream Foundation for opening up the program to all employees at the company. She says, “I lost 10 pounds and I learned a couple of things; I love to eat fruit now and I can control my portions.â€
Theresa says that since last October when she joined the program, she has lowered her Diabetes AC1 and feels better in her clothes. It is this kind of individual achievements that the leadership at ICC believes will inspire its staff to be better employees.
A Bersin group study on work performance found that business organizations with incentive programs have a 31% lower employee turnover compared to organizations without such programs. Additionally, companies with incentive programs record decreased employee dissatisfaction. ICC Property Management hopes as its employees achieve its dreams, the company will benefit from increased productivity, lower employee turnover and decreased dissatisfaction at the office.
