Saquon Barkley bolted for a 65-yard touchdown run on the game's second play to spark the Philadelphia Eagles' 38-20 win against the visiting New York Giants on Sunday.
Barkley also caught a touchdown and rushed for 150 yards -- his first 100-yard game of the season -- as the division-leading Eagles (6-2) avenged a Week 6 loss to the NFC East rival Giants (2-6).
Philadelphia beat New York for the 13th straight time at Lincoln Financial Field, including the playoffs. The Giants fell to 0-5 away from home this season and lost their 10th consecutive road game.
Jalen Hurts passed for 179 yards and four touchdowns, two to Dallas Goedert. Barkley left with a groin injury on the final play of the third quarter after helping the Eagles tally season highs in points and yards (427). Backup Tank Bigsby added 104 yards on nine carries.
The Giants lost rookie running back Cam Skattebo to a gruesome right ankle injury in the second quarter. He had an 18-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter, his fourth score in two games against the Eagles.
The Philadelphia defense recorded a season-high five sacks against Jaxson Dart, who finished with 193 yards and a TD on 14-of-24 passing. Dart also rushed for a 2-yard score with 2:44 left in the game.
Before his touchdown dash just 17 seconds into the game, Barkley's longest run of the season had been 18 yards.
The Giants leveled the score at 7-7 with 2:56 left in the first quarter on Skattebo's touchdown catch.
After Hurts converted two fourth downs with his legs, his 9-yard TD toss to Barkley made it 14-7 in the second quarter.
Graham Gano's 47-yard field goal cut the Giants' deficit to 14-10, but Hurts answered with a 6-yard TD to Goedert just before intermission.
Philadelphia's lead was 24-13 after the teams traded field goals in the third quarter.
Hurts threw his 99th and 100th career touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, 17 yards to Goedert and 40 yards to a leaping Jahan Dotson to expand the lead to 38-13.
